Acts Of Love Corp. is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a steadfast commitment to uplifting socioeconomically oppressed communities. Founded on the principles of compassion and service, our organization channels its efforts towards enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families facing various adversities.

Our multifaceted approach includes a range of impactful programs designed to address the most pressing needs within these communities. Through our feeding programs, we ensure that nutritious meals reach those experiencing food insecurity, providing not just sustenance but also a sense of dignity and support. Additionally, our educational assistance initiatives aim to break the cycle of poverty by offering tutoring, mentorship, and scholarships to empower youth with the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.

Furthermore, Acts Of Love Corp stands ready to provide emergency support during times of crisis, offering immediate assistance such as financial aid, essential supplies and being a conduit to shelter to those affected by disasters or unforeseen hardships.

Our Founder and Visionary

Simone Handy, the driving force behind Acts of Love Corporation, is not just a mother of three, but a passionate advocate with a profound mission – to uplift and empower fellow mothers. Her journey into this noble cause was ignited by the challenges she faced during her pregnancies and childbirths. These personal trials, exacerbated by a lack of resources, fueled her determination to serve as a bridge between her community and the marginalized individuals it supports.

In Mrs. Handy’s perspective, every child deserves the very best from those entrusted with their well-being. Yet, the road to providing that support can be arduous without the necessary tools and community backing. She firmly believes that early childhood development and education play pivotal roles in shaping future generations and, by extension, society as a whole. Her vision revolves around opening doors for these families, offering them new horizons and broadening their intellectual boundaries.

Simone Handy’s ambition is to create an environment where young minds are not only nurtured but also challenged, allowing them to unlock their full potential and confidence. Denise Coleman is an accounting professional, nonprofit leader, and community advocate with extensive experience in banking, accounting, and nonprofit service. She holds a Master’s in Project Management & Operations and a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Denise serves as a Young Adults Director, Worship Leader, and Board Member of Acts of Love Corp. She is passionate about financial stewardship, mentoring others, and creating meaningful community impact through integrity, faith, and service.
